CAFELAT SILICONE GASKET - E61 8MM

Please note that although the gaskets are strong under compression, you should never use a sharp tool like a screwdriver to install them. This may tear the silicone.

We have found that the replica E61 groups made these days are pretty much all the same, the different machine manufacturers then use either an 8mm or an 8.5mm group gasket.

The thickness of the gasket will determine the “lock-in” position of the porta`lter handle. Ideally you want the handle to lock in directly towards you (5 o’clock to 7 o'clock position). If the gasket is too thin it will lock in too far. If the gasket is too thick it will not lock in enough.
